Some colours and sizes were out of stock when checked; we list the variant that was in stock. ettitude's price was a sale price on 26 Oct 2026. How to choose

Silk (mulberry)

Linen

Cotton: percale vs sateen

Bamboo-derived viscose or lyocell

Hot sleepers

Start with linen or cotton percale: many hot sleepers prefer their crisp, airy feel. Silk feels cool when you first touch it, but claims that it "regulates temperature" are unproven. Cooling bedding in general can feel cooler, but trials haven't shown clear differences in sleep measures (evidence).

Washing

Wash and dry per the care label; many people wash pillowcases weekly.

FAQ

Is silk worth it? If you like a smooth, slippery feel and don't mind gentle washing, maybe. If you want warmer, easier machine washes, choose cotton or linen.

What's the best pillowcase for hot sleepers? Linen or cotton percale, for their airier feel and easier care.

Does thread count matter? Only within the same fibre and weave. Higher isn't automatically better.
